Downunder Bunkers
For Australia
Australian Made
Australian Reality
Bushfires are a reality of life in Australia. Each year, fire services respond to an estimated 45,000 to 60,000 bushfires, with some seasons causing widespread damage to homes and communities. During the devastating 2019–20 Black Summer, more than 11,700 major fires burned across the country, showing just how quickly conditions can escalate.
While fire is part of Australia’s natural landscape, longer and more severe fire seasons mean homeowners need to be prepared. When leaving early isn’t possible, a purpose-built bushfire bunker can provide a safe, secure place to shelter until the danger passes, offering peace of mind when it matters most.

Downunder Bunkers deliver a safer, smarter approach to bushfire protection. Purpose-engineered for Australian conditions, our fully underground bunkers combine advanced fire engineering, active ventilation, and discreet design to protect when it matters most.
